Welcome to hashlugradio, the podcast about the podcast! We are here to discuss points raised in the LugRadio podcast by the presenters, and to talk about what’s happening in the LugRadio community. This includes the forums, wiki, and IRC.

Founded by members of the LugRadio community, we are not an officially sanctioned companion to the LugRadio podcast, but to avoid clashes, we will release episodes every second Monday, a week after LugRadio episodes are released.

about the name

The podcast is called hashlugradio because it initially arose from conversation between regulars from the LugRadio IRC channel, #lugradio. In the UK, we pronounce the # part of the channel name “hash”, not “pound” as used in the United States. It’s nothing to do with any sort of illegal substances, no matter what you may infer from our first ever episode.

about the episode numbers

Because our content is strongly linked to specific episodes of LugRadio, we use their episode numbering. So our “Episode 0″, which discusses topics and events from LugRadio’s Episode 24 from Season 3, is our Episode 24 from Season 3. This will let you easily find the LugRadio episode we’re discussing.
